1. Will people be able to tell my brows are tattooed?
Once the color settles, the fine strokes sit between your own brow hairs in a straight, lightly arched shape, so they are hard to notice at normal talking distance. Up close, they can still be seen, and no studio can honestly promise otherwise.
2. I have oily skin or sweat a lot. Can I still get hairstrokes?
Yes, but on oily skin the strokes stay less crisp than on normal skin and can blur and fade faster. 3. Do I need time off work?

4. Does it hurt?
The area is numbed first, and most people feel only light stinging, though everyone feels it differently. If it starts to sting more, tell the artist, who will stop and check before continuing.
5. What should I avoid afterward?
Keep the brows dry for the first 3 days: wash your face around them, and skip heavy workouts and saunas, since sweat also wets the brows. 6. How long do the strokes last? Will they turn blue or red?
Usually about 2 to 4 years, as a general reference, depending on your skin and aftercare, and then they fade. Whether the color later shifts toward blue or red depends on how deep and dense the pigment is and which pigment is used. 7. My old brow tattoo is dark or turned blue. Can I get hairstrokes?
Not right away if the old pigment is still dark, because new strokes will not show clearly on top of it. The old tattoo is lightened with laser first: usually 1 to 2 sessions, and 3 to 4 for thick pigment or brows that were touched up many times. 8. How long until the flakes come off and I see the real color?
The brows usually flake after about 5 to 7 days. After that the strokes often look lighter than on the day, then the color comes back gradually, and the true color shows after about 1 to 2 months.
